TREE TOPS Update for Early January
I got a spare moment tonight so I thought I would pass along a few more updates. After sending the information out last night several residents asked me if the proxy votes we be held in confidence. The answer to that is YES. I have asked Diane to take the proxies that we receive prior to the meeting and the meeting votes and Diane and a member of her staff will announce the results. We will not release individual names that voted for or against the amendment.
Some other news that I wanted to pass along:
Gate Codes
Each resident should have two gate codes to the front entry gate. One is active all the time and is for use by homeowners.
The second code is only active during day hours. This code is contractors that you have working on your house.

Pedestrian Gate Key
When I moved into the neighborhood I was not given a key to the pedestrian gate. We have located keys to the Pedestrian Gate and if you would like to make a copy if you don’t have one, you can email me at brian.bradway@raymondjames.com to arrange to borrow a key so you can make a copy.
We also looked into other solutions for the pedestrian gate such as having a combo lock, swipe card and keypad system. At this point we have decided not to move in this direction. Some residents had concerns with the combo lock and the swipe card system and keypad system were very expensive. The bids were between $5000 = $6000.
Tree Tops Gate Programmer and Tree Tops Welcome Committee
Shawn Bai at 9618 Tree Tops Lake Road has volunteered to be on the welcome committee and be one of our gate programmers. We are still looking for another individual for being on the welcome committee and gate programmer. Please consider helping out on one or the other committees.
I am working on a package for the welcome committee and will be turning that over Shawn. Diane will let us know when a home is sold as we are notified by the title company to ensure the resident is up to date an HOA fees.
Dog Droppings
I was recently asked to remind the residents of Tree Tops to PLEASE pick up after their dogs. Not much else to say here but we do ask for your compliance.
Holiday Decorations
Did you know we have a deed restriction on when holiday lightning needs to be removed? I didn’t until I was reminded. Please have all holiday lighting removed by 1/10.
