Transition of the neighborhood association is an important milestone. It marks the turnover of responsibility for the running of the neighborhood from the declarant to the residents. This will be the first opportunity that the non-declarant owners have to address issues related to the Association.

One of the most important issues to be initially addressed is the election of non-declarant Board members. Information packets have been mailed to all members for which we have email addresses, or have chosen to subscribe to the website. It is imperative that we have a quorum of the membership to conduct business. In the event you are not able to attend the meeting on Thursday, we request that you complete a proxy indicating the cast of your vote. You may respond by email, or by fax (813-926-1912)

The front entry signs are being refurbished in an effort to preserve our investment and prevent any further deterioration.  They will be carefully removed (one at a time) from the wall and taken to the sign shop for patching, sanding and primer before they can apply the new paint and the gold leaf.  Applying the gold leaf is a very long and labor intensive process which will take about one week to complete.

The first sign will be removed today.

We will also be installing the “For Resident Use Only” sign at the fishing dock during this time.

Please pass this information along to any of your neighbors that may have not yet registered for community updates via the website.

Meeting notices will be mailed out next week regarding the transition meeting of the Board from builder to resident control.
